Before turning to professional photography in 2010, I enjoyed as an Amateur both Canon 400D and a Canon Kiss X2. Nowadays I stick with my Canon 7D and a good variety of accessories and lenses up to 400 mm with a variety of lights, back drops and a full size studio. It's what happens when the photography bug really bites.

My interest in photography started over 30 years ago when my Dad bought me my first proper camera for slide and film photography - a Canon compact. Coming from a large agricultural or rural family I had to learn my trade from books, exhibitions and other photographers. There was no money for courses then but those "friends" taught me the value of constructive criticism and helping others to improve their photographic techniques. Hence my founding the Levels Photography Club (
www.levelspc.co.uk) to share my and others experience.

I am passionate about Hollywood Style and Portraits have become my speciality. I love reproducing art and others work from the 60's and 70's to understand the methodology. True, I do commercial pack shots but I prefer the glamour model takes. A lot of my work is in black and white which I adore, with moods and shadows and I use a lot of high impact techniques.

I am lucky to travel worldwide.  My camera goes with me - Canon of course - Photography and Canon my passion.
